Latest action
The UK government and the World Bank have created a new ‘Capacity-Building Fund for Microfinance in Africa’ intended to increase the number of microfinance institutions and to support existing ones. However, there are major concerns with its current development. We are asking MPs to help ensure the Fund is as effective as possible at reaching the poor and improving their chances of escaping poverty.
