About RESULTS

There are many organisations working to fight hunger and poverty around the world. RESULTS' particular focus is unique: we work at a grassroots, national and international level to create the political will to end hunger and the worst aspects of poverty. This multifaceted approach has proven to be an effective and powerful advocacy combination that has yielded tangible and lasting results.

None of the great social movements of our time occurred until the political will was great enough to demand a shift in public policy. The women’s suffrage movement and the civil rights movement in the USA in the 1960s are just two examples of the power of political will being generated by ordinary, concerned citizens. Yet many of us today feel powerless to make a difference.
